St Andrew United Methodist Church is a Protestant Christian church. We hold to a traditional Wesleyan Theology.

In the late 1960s, as the space program expanded in Titusville, Florida, the Florida United Methodist Conference planted St. Andrew Methodist Church as a mission church in the North Titusville area.

Since its beginnings, St Andrew has been a warm and inviting congregation that holds to meaningful worship, congregational nurture, missional outreach, and sharing the love and grace of Jesus Christ with all.

United Methodist History

Methodism began as a renewal movement within the Church of England in the 1700s, led by Reverend John Wesley. He emphasized Scripture, intentional spiritual growth, and living out faith through compassion and service.

Today, The United Methodist Church is a global community of over 11 million members, committed to sharing God’s love through open hearts, open minds, and open doors.

What do we believe

Like many other Christian groups, we affirm the beliefs expressed in the Apostles Creed. These include:

  • The belief in one God, who is the Creator and sustainer of the universe.

  • The belief in the Trinity, that there is one God in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • The belief in the divinity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who is fully human and fully divine.

United Methodists believe that everyone has value and everyone is loved by God. For that reason, everyone is invited to the Communion Table no matter their age or background.
